Appeal Update + Halloween Fun

We were treated to a great surprise yesterday evening...

No appeal was filed by the 5:00PM cutoff, which means our use permit is officially approved! We celebrated with a glass of our Schwarzbier, some fun with white duct tape, and too many Snickers.

SO, WHAT'S NEXT FOR US?

We close escrow on the building this Friday (gulp) and we're working on finalizing our renovation plans in order to apply for building permits, which we understand can take months to be approved. We'll be filing our licensing application with the California Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) soon and placing the order for our brewing equipment, which requires 6-months lead time!

Over the next several months, Trevor will continue to brew out of our garage until the equipment arrives in order to dial in our recipes. We will, of course, have some IPAs in the regular rotation - we are on the West Coast, after all - and Trevor makes some awesome lagers, but let us know what other styles you're into!

Finally, stay tuned for opportunities to try our beer at local events... although we can't legally sell our beer, we can donate it to charities. We're excited to pick a few that mean something to us and sponsor some of their events.
