Feeling Thankful

This year, we're feeling especially thankful...

that we live in one of the most beautiful places on earth where we enjoy the freedom to pursue our dream, for our friends, family, and everyone who has supported us, that our toddler sleeps well (allowing us to get work done in the evenings), and for our family's good health. We're so lucky.

We also now officially own this gorgeous space! It feels vast in its emptiness but we know once we start putting in the brewing equipment, new bathrooms, bar, and tables and chairs it is going to fill up quickly. We're working with our architects in order to apply for building permits as soon as possible since it may take a couple of months for the permits to be approved - let's hope they come back swiftly. Speaking of a quick turnaround, just 23 days after applying we received notice that our TTB (Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau) license was approved. That came as a pleasant surprise since their website set expectations that 120 days was the norm. Another hurdle down!

We hope you all are making time for tradition today, or at least spending a moment to reflect - chances are, if you're reading this there is much to be thankful for.
